What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device or browser to support website functionality, preferences, analytics or other services.
HTHA may also use similar technologies such as local storage or embedded content from third parties when you interact with those features.
How We Use Cookies
- Shopping cart and checkout sessions.
- Customer account login and authentication.
- Wishlist, recently viewed artworks, and the on-site compare tray (browser storage).
- Short-lived Email Preferences / unsubscribe notice feedback.
- Form security (nonces) and abuse prevention.
- Embedded video when you choose to play a product video.

Essential
Required for the website and WooCommerce shop to function — for example cart, checkout, login and security cookies.
Preferences
Remember choices such as wishlist items, recently viewed artworks, or compare tray selections (including browser localStorage). These improve convenience but are not strictly required to browse.

Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services when those features are enabled or when you interact with embedded content.
- WordPress / WooCommerce — Core platform cookies for sessions, cart and checkout.
- Direct bank transfer — Payment provider selected at checkout; may set its own cookies when checkout loads.
- Cash on delivery — Payment provider selected at checkout; may set its own cookies when checkout loads.
Embedded Content
Product pages may include embedded YouTube videos. Videos load only when you choose to play them. YouTube may set cookies or similar technologies when playback starts.
Where possible, HTHA uses privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds (youtube-nocookie.com). Exact cookie names and durations are controlled by Google and may change.
REQUIRES TECHNICAL / LEGAL CONFIRMATION: confirm all embedded providers and whether additional marketing pixels load on product or checkout pages.
Managing Cookie Preferences
HTHA does not currently display a dedicated cookie consent banner in the theme. Essential cookies required for shopping and security still apply.
This page does not offer Accept / Reject switches or a “save preferences” control, because no consent management platform (CMP) is wired into the theme yet.
REQUIRES TECHNICAL / LEGAL CONFIRMATION: confirm whether a CMP or consent banner is required for your jurisdictions and analytics setup.
You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect cart, checkout, or account features.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. HTHA does not currently change cookie behavior based on these signals in the theme alone.
REQUIRES TECHNICAL / LEGAL CONFIRMATION: confirm whether analytics or marketing tools honor DNT/GPC and whether legal obligations apply in your markets.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add features, change vendors, or update legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
