• Payment card details are handled by the payment providers enabled at checkout; HTHA does not design checkout to store full card numbers in WordPress.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the site, HTHA may collect the following categories of information.

Identity & contact

• Name, email address, phone or WhatsApp (when provided), country / region.

Order & shipping

• Order number, billing and shipping addresses, purchased items, delivery notes and related WooCommerce order records.

Account

• Account login, password (stored hashed by WordPress), saved addresses and order history when you use My Account.

Enquiries

• Contact form topics, subject, message, product context, order number and optional uploads.
• Custom Painting requests: wall/furniture sizes, preferred size, colour direction, orientation, room, deadline, budget, notes, reference links and inspiration images.
• Project / trade enquiries (Trade, Interior Designers, Hospitality, Commercial and related project landing forms): name, email, company / studio, phone, country, project type and location, volume or quantity bands, style preferences, timeline, budget, fulfillment preference, message and optional file uploads.

Uploads

• JPG, PNG or WebP images attached to Contact or Custom Painting forms (for example room photos or damage photos).
• Images or PDF files attached to project / trade enquiry forms, stored as WordPress media when accepted by the form.

Device & site usage

• Standard server and WordPress/WooCommerce technical data needed to serve pages, secure forms and run checkout (for example IP address in logs, browser session cookies).
• Wishlist product IDs in cookies (guests) or user meta (signed in); recently viewed product IDs in browser localStorage (htha_recently_viewed).
• Compare artwork IDs in browser localStorage (htha_compare_artworks) for the on-site compare tray — not a server-side account profile.

How We Collect Information

• Directly from you when you create an account, place an order, or submit Contact, Custom Painting or project / trade enquiry forms.
• Through WooCommerce checkout and My Account features.
• From cookies, localStorage and similar technologies needed for cart, account, wishlist, recently viewed and compare features.
• From payment or shipping providers involved in fulfilling your order, within the scope of those services.
• From analytics or tracking tools only when they are configured for this website.

How We Use Information

• Process and fulfil orders, arrange delivery and provide order support.
• Respond to Contact, Custom Painting and project / trade enquiries and after-sales requests.
• Operate customer accounts, wishlists, recently viewed and compare artwork features.
• Improve website usability and protect forms against spam and abuse.
• Send transactional messages related to your order or request.
• Send marketing communications only where permitted and where that channel is actually used by HTHA.
• Meet legal and accounting obligations that apply to the business.

Orders & Payments

When you place an order, WooCommerce stores the order record (items, amounts, billing and shipping details, and order status) so HTHA can fulfil and support the purchase.

Currently enabled payment methods at checkout include: Direct bank transfer, Cash on delivery.

Payment providers process card or wallet payments according to their own terms. This site is not designed to store full payment card numbers in WordPress.

Forms & Uploads

Contact / customer support

The Contact form may collect name, email, country/region, phone or WhatsApp, enquiry topic, subject, message, order number, related product context and optional image uploads. Submissions are stored as site requests and may be emailed to the studio support address.

Custom Painting requests

Custom Painting enquiries may include name, email, country, postal code, starting path, artwork reference, wall and furniture measurements, preferred size, colour direction, orientation, room, deadline, budget, notes and an inspiration image. Requests are stored as HTHA request records for review and quoting.

Project / trade enquiries

Trade, Interior Designers, Hospitality, Commercial and related project landing forms may collect name, email, company or studio, phone, country, project type and location, estimated volume or quantity, style preferences, timeline, budget, fulfillment preference, preferred contact method, message and optional attachments. Submissions are stored as trade / project request records and may be emailed to the studio. Submitting a project enquiry is not a newsletter subscription.

Gift cards

Gift card purchase and redemption are not fully enabled on this site yet. When a gift card checkout flow is connected, purchaser and recipient contact details collected by that flow will be described here.

Images and files you send us

Uploaded images are used to support product questions, custom painting requests, room/wall reference and after-sales reviews (for example damage photos). Project / trade forms may also accept images or PDF briefs. Accepted files are stored in the WordPress media library.

Upload retention, access and deletion — REQUIRES LEGAL / BUSINESS CONFIRMATION

Exact storage duration, who can access uploads, and the deletion process still need legal / business confirmation.

Cookies & Analytics

HTHA uses cookies and similar technologies that help the website and shop work.

Essential / functional

• WordPress and WooCommerce session cookies for cart, checkout and account login.
• HTHA wishlist cookie (htha_wishlist) for guests; signed-in wishlists are stored in account meta.
• Recently viewed artworks use browser localStorage (htha_recently_viewed); a legacy htha_viewed cookie may be migrated once then cleared.
• Compare selections use browser localStorage (htha_compare_artworks) for the on-site compare tray.

Analytics & marketing tools

No separate analytics or marketing pixels are configured in Theme Settings at the time of this page’s technical audit. If tools are added later, this section and the Cookie Policy should be updated.

Marketing Communications

The site footer currently shows brand notes text and does not include a live newsletter signup form. Transactional emails related to orders or support requests may still be sent.

When marketing email is connected, preferences and unsubscribe options will be available on the Email Preferences page.

• WordPress roles and capabilities for admin access.
• Form nonces, honeypot fields and rate limits on Contact and related enquiry submissions.
• Upload type and size checks on Contact, Custom Painting and project / trade forms.
• Payment handling through enabled WooCommerce gateways rather than storing full card numbers in the theme.
• Routine WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates as part of site maintenance.
