Shipping & Delivery
Learn how HTHA prepares, ships and delivers artwork, including processing, tracking, large-format packaging and international delivery considerations.
Overview
Processing time varies by Ready to Ship, Made to Order or Custom — then transit after carrier pickup.
Time after carrier pickup. Varies by destination, size, framing and route — not the same as processing.
When tracking is available, details are sent after the shipment is handed to the carrier.
Protective packing matched to rolled, stretched, framed or oversized formats.
Destinations
International shipping is available to selected destinations. Enter your address at checkout to confirm availability and rates for your order, or contact us if you need to check a specific country first. Shipping zones in WooCommerce control which destinations can complete checkout.
Needs Business Confirmation: publish the supported country list in Theme Settings (shipping_regions) once commercial coverage is final.
Some oversized or framed works may not be available for every destination. Ask before ordering if your wall size or framing choice is unusual for your country.
Before dispatch
We confirm size, finish and shipping details before studio work begins.
Made-to-order works are hand-painted in the studio. Lead time is listed on each artwork.
Oil needs time to settle before packing. Rushing this stage can affect the surface.
The work is reviewed for size, surface, colour, edges and packing readiness.
Protective packing, then handover to a carrier suited to the destination and package size. Carrier selection varies by destination and package size.
Fulfillment
Ready to Ship indicates that the artwork is already available for fulfillment and does not require made-to-order production. It does not automatically mean ships today or within 24 hours.
Made-to-order artwork requires production before shipment. Timing depends on size, finish, framing and current studio workload. Ranges shown on each artwork are estimates, not a single fixed SLA.
Custom projects may require additional production and approval time before shipment. Use the Custom Painting brief — do not assume the same processing time as a catalogue order.
Larger works can need longer packing planning and different carriers. Processing and transit may both differ from smaller pieces.
Needs Business Confirmation: exact oversized cutovers and freight rules vary by destination.
Timing
Production ranges appear on each artwork. Transit is confirmed for your destination when shipping options are available at checkout — we avoid publishing a fixed worldwide day range that may not apply.
Tracking
Packing
Often shipped rolled in a protective tube when the format allows, with surface protection before packing.
Packed to protect corners and the painted surface for carrier handling. Corner protection is used where the format requires it.
Additional protection for the frame profile and glazing or finish when a frame is included. Framed works usually cannot ship rolled.
Larger works may need different packing, carriers or delivery methods by destination.
Some oversized or fragile framed works may require specialised packing or freight. Availability depends on the artwork and destination.
Needs Business Confirmation: when crating is offered, cost and lead time are confirmed before dispatch.
Large works
International
Customs
Needs Business Confirmation: DAP / DDU / DDP and whether duties are collected at checkout must be confirmed before stronger public claims.
Issues
Please review your shipping address carefully before completing the order. Incomplete or incorrect addresses are a common cause of delay.
Contact Order Support as early as possible with your order number. Changes are more likely before packing and carrier handover.
Once handed to the carrier, address changes depend on carrier rules and may not be possible.
Check tracking and any local delivery notices first. Customs, weather, peak season and destination limits can extend transit.
Include your order number and destination so we can help review the next step.
Exceptions
Confirm the latest scan, delivery photo or local depot notice before opening a support request.
Ask neighbours or building staff, check safe-place notes, then contact HTHA with the tracking history and order number.
Some orders ship in more than one package. One tracking number may show delivered while another is still in transit.
If tracking stops for an extended period, HTHA can help review next steps with the carrier. Outcomes depend on carrier rules and the case details.
Needs Business Confirmation: final claim windows, remake / refund outcomes and carrier liability limits are confirmed case by case — this page does not invent a fixed SLA.
After-sales
Note whether the artwork was damaged in transit, wrong, missing a piece, or arrived with damaged packaging.
Retain the outer packaging until the issue is reviewed.
Show labels and any damage to the carton or tube.
Capture clear photos of the painting, edges or frame where the issue appears.
Describe damage, wrong size, wrong finish or incorrect artwork, and include tracking if you have it.
Send your order number with the photos. Outcomes follow the returns and after-sales policy.
FAQ
International shipping is available to selected destinations. Availability can vary by artwork size, framing and destination — ask if you are unsure about your country.
Processing time is the period before shipment (review, production when required, inspection and packing). Transit / delivery time starts after carrier pickup and varies by destination and package type.
Ready to Ship skips made-to-order production but is not a promise of same-day shipping. Made-to-order and custom projects need production time listed or confirmed for that artwork or brief.
When tracking is available, details are sent after carrier handover. Use Track an Order or My Account → Orders. Account order status is not the same as carrier tracking status.
Protective packing is matched to the format — rolled, stretched, framed or oversized — before the work leaves the studio. Specialised crating is confirmed when required.
Often yes, with destination-specific limits. Contact Shipping Support with the artwork and destination before ordering a large piece.
Duties, taxes and customs charges depend on your destination and local regulations. Confirm the current policy with HTHA before ordering if import charges matter for your purchase. Do not assume duties are included unless stated at checkout or in writing.
Contact us as early as possible with your order number. Changes are more likely before dispatch; after carrier handover they depend on carrier rules.
