You receive a final quote, scope and production expectation. Nothing is painted until the commission is approved.

We can use your wall measurements and room photo to help narrow down a suitable proportion. Artwork above a sofa often works well around two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture width — a useful starting point, not a fixed rule.

Custom pricing is based on the requested size, complexity and finishing. Nothing is painted until the quote is approved.
Size
Larger canvases and uncommon proportions change materials, painting time and packing.
Composition complexity
Denser detail, multiple focal areas or significant redesign increases studio time.
Texture level
Heavy impasto and layered surfaces need more drying and handling care.
Framing
Selected framing or finish options are quoted with the commission when available.
Shipping destination
Packing method and transit cost depend on size, framing and destination.
Special requirements
Tight deadlines, unusual proportions or additional review steps may affect the quote.
Approval

Can I change the size of an existing HTHA painting?
Often yes, where the composition allows. Send the artwork link and preferred dimensions — we confirm suitability before quoting.
Can I change the colours?
Selected palette adjustments are possible within the same visual direction. Exact colour matching to finishes or textiles is reviewed case by case.
Can I send a photo of my room?
Yes. A wall photo, furniture width and a colour preference are among the most useful starting points.
Can you create a painting from a reference image?
We can use references as direction for a related hand-painted work. We do not reproduce another artist’s copyrighted painting as a replica.
Can I request an exact copy of another artist’s work?
No. HTHA commissions related original paintings. We will not copy protected third-party artworks.
